Welcome to the Trekwar website. Trekwar is a free open source turn based multiplayer strategy game that takes place in the Star Trek universe.

The game will support online games with a few or hundreds of players, battling for the control of the galaxy playing as either Federation, Klingon, Romulan, Cardassian or Dominion, research new ships and technologies, colonize and develop new worlds, harvest resources and design your own starships.
The game is currently under development and will be ready for alpha and beta testing during 2010, the game will be open source and free to play.
